Zaballa House

Half Moon Bay, the coastal destination in San Franscisco, California is a quaint harbor town rich in history and of course, seaside adventures. You can finally make it to this historical beach spot without worrying about a historic charge in your lodging bills, thanks to Zaballa House.

Located in 324 Main Street in Half Moon Bay, SanFo (a few miles from the Half Moon Bay Airport), an overnight stay in this cheap and affordable beach hotel costs around $127. This rate is quite a steal for a nice accommodation in this famed place which is also called San Benito or Spanish Town.

The hotel’s Colonial atmosphere is evident in the elegantly-furnished reception room while the breakfast buffet is served in a parlor complete with Victorian chairs. This ambience is consistently integrated in the nice guestrooms – a fireplace, clawfoot tubs and windows that open up to garden views make guests sometimes forget that they are housed in a nice little inn. Superior suites have their own private entrance that are created villa-style, and are equipped with family-size whirlpools and kitchenettes. Within the hotel premises are family rooms, a restaurant and bar and fitness center.

Apart from beachside communities like Princeton-by-the-Sea where vacationers enjoy swimming and fishing, Zaballa House is very near the famous “Jetty” or “Breakwater” tourist attraction in Pillar Point Harbor. It is also adjacent to Half Moon Bay streams – Naples Creek, Frenchman’s Creek and Pilarcitos Creek. Visitors can also have a glimpse into some of the coastal communities’ way of life like making the town’s famous Christmas trees and watching an agricultural parade go by.
